Bet the Deck

For 2 players

Object:

To win all the cards!

Game play:

• One player is chosen as the dealer.
• All cards are dealt face down to each player thus splitting the deck bewteen the two players.
• Dealer goes first by flipping over his or her top card.
• Second player places a "bet" that the card they flip over will be Higher or Lower than the dealer's card.
• Player two flips over his or her top card.
• If the bet is won: the first player "pays" the second player in cards and the second player remains in control of the games. First player flips again, Second player bets again.
• If the bet is lost: the second player "pays" the first player in cards and the first player gains control of the game. Second player flips and First player places a bet.
• Game is won when one player holds all the cards

Rules:

The payout: A player makes a card payout by giving the winning player the difference between the lowest and the highest card flipped, as well as the card the losing player flipped.

In the event of a tie: set the two cards aside and begin again. The winner of the next round will receive the two cards from the tie as a bonus to the payout.

Notes on Game Play

• You could incorporate jokers into the deck as wild cards.
